Fixer F

1) Product Description

Fixer F is a formaldehyde free dye fixing agent for improving the wet fastness properties of dyeing & printing with direct & reactive dyes.

2) Features

Improves fastness to water, washing, acid hydrolysis

Free of formaldehyde

Nil to minimum effect on hue & light fastness

Nil to minimum effect on handle of goods

High resistance to acids, alkalis and hard water

4) Application

4.1) Exhaustion Method

FIXER F : 0.25 1.0 % o.w.g

pH : 5 8

Temperature : 30 50C

Time : 15 30 minutes

Dosage depends on depth of shades (higher for heavy shades) & on whether reactive or direct dyes (higher for direct dyes). Softening with cationic softener & dye fixing can be carried out in the same bath.
