Defoamer AF

1) Product Description

Defoamer AF is a silicone based antifoaming agent stable to HTHP processing conditions. It is stable to high concentration of electrolyte and alkali.

2) Properties

Ionic character : Nonionic

App.AS such : White color slight Viscous

pH(10% dil.) : 6-7

Solubility : Dispersible in water

Chemical Composition : Silicone based

3) Application

Dosage depends on the foaming behavior of the processing liquor. Before addition in to the processing liquor Defoamer AF is diluted with 5 - 10 times with water by adding water to Defoamer AF under continuous stirring

4) Safe use and handling

Good hygienic and industrial practices should be followed and, when employed as recommended, Defoamer AF will not present any hazard. However, prolonged skin contact with the neat product should be avoided and any splashes on the skin should be washed off with water.
