1) Product Description

AVINYA DMS 350 is a non-reactive linear polydimethylpolysiloxane (PDMS) having a viscosity of 350 centipoise (cps). AVINYA DMS 350 can withstand a broad variety of temperatures and pressures while remaining liquid. As a result, they are commonly utilized in applications requiring fluid characteristics in severe environments. They provide exceptional shear stability and slip in mechanically demanding applications. AVINYA DMS 350 has an exceptional property profile that distinguishes it from organic compounds such as mineral oils.

AVINYA DMS 350 is a non-polar liquid that cannot be mixed with polar solvents such as water or short-chain alcohols. AVINYA DMS 350 is soluble in any proportion in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorohydrocarbons, ethers, esters, ketones, and higher alcohols. A lab- scale test should be performed before the product is used with solvents for the first time. When using solvents, please remember to read the warning information.
