About

Dispersol HV XT

1) Product character

Dispersol HV XT is a specialized formulated liquid low foaming high performance soaping off agent for fast dyeings & prints of reactive dyes. It also acts as core alkali neutralization and very much suitable for neutralizing core alkali after pretreatments. Suitable for application in high turbulence liquor machines such as jets, soft flows etc. It results in reduced soaping cycle with increased production and significantly reducing dye house cost. When used after dyeing it serves dual purpose of neutralization and soaping, where by acetic acid is completely avoided.

2) Properties

Ionic character : Nonionic

App.as such : Clear colorless to light yellowish color liq.

pH(10% dil.) : 2.5

Solubility : Miscible with water

Chemical Composition : Polymer compound

3) Advantages

3.1) Through neutralization of residual alkali

3.2) When used for core alkali neutralization after pre-treatment, it produces fabric with stable pH

3.3) Advantage over conventional acetic acid is that when acetic acid is used for neutralization after dyeing, on neutralization with alkali (caustic soda or soda ash) it produces salts, which assists exhaustion of hydrolysed dyestuff on to fiber. Hence, soaping cannot be carried out in same neutralization bath. While, when neutralization is carried out using Dispersol HV XT no salt formation is there and hence soaping can be carried out in the same neutralization bath. Resulting in reduced soaping cycle saving of time, water & energy

3.4) Excellent removal of unfixed dyes

3.5) Prevents re-deposition of hydrolysed reactive dyes

3.6) Strong dispersing & sequestering power. Counteract undesired influence of hard water ions during process in which it is being used

3.7) Strong dispersing action on hydrolysed reactive dyes as well as naturally occurring cotton impurities, dead cotton and on regenerated cellulosic lints

3.8) Multipurpose - Can be used in Pretreatment, neutralizing after pretreatment, During dyeing, neutralizing after dyeing, Soaping off after dyeing, Rinsing after bio-polishing

3.9) When used in pretreatment produces goods with better whiteness & absorbency

3.10) When used in rinsing after bio polishing - it reduces lints to some extent on fabric surface

3.11) When used in dyeing it acts as protective colloid, better dissolution of dyes, binds hard water ions, resulting in more level dyeing with better reproducibility

3.12) When used for core alkali neutralization after bleaching produces cleaner & whiter surface

3.13) Give stable pH to fabric

3.14) Does not contain any mineral acid or any volatile acid

3.15) Totally organic compound. Nonvolatile. APEO free

3.16) Meets various international standards such as Oeko Tex, GOTS, REACH, etc

4) Application

4.1)Recommended Soaping Cycle

4.1.1) After dyeing drain bath

4.1.2) Cold wash / Rinse for 10 min OR Over flow wash for 10 min. Drain bath

4.1.3) Run with Dispersol HV XT = 0.5 1.0 gpl 10 min at normal temp, increase temp to boil, soap for 15 20 min. at 80C to boil

4.1.4) Soap with Dispersol HV XT = 0.5 1.0 gpl for 15 min. 80C to boil. Drain bath (Optional)

4.1.5) Hot wash for 10 min. Drain bath

4.1.6) Hot wash for 10 min. (Optional depending on colour removal in last bath)

*Second soaping is recommended for very heavy shades only.

5) Safe use and handling

Good hygienic and industrial practices should be followed and, when employed as recommended, Dispersol HV XT will not present any hazard. However, prolonged skin contact with the neat product should be avoided and any splashes on the skin should be washed off with water.
