About Hydrophobic Amino Oil AD-15
Product description
Alsil AD15 is a second-generation special amino fluid designed to give excellent softness with smoothness. Alsil AD15 is hydrophobic amino silicone oil to give softness along with sufficient
smoothness. It has cationic nature that enhances its ability of exhaustion on the substrate. These fluids are easily emulsified with standard emulsifiers.

Exceptional Water Repellency for TextilesHydrophobic Amino Oil AD-15 imparts outstanding water-repellent properties to a variety of textiles and fabrics. Its amino-modified polysiloxane composition ensures that treated materials not only resist moisture but also retain breathability and softness, making them suitable for premium upholstery, clothing, and technical fabrics.
Easy Dispersion and Versatile ApplicationAD-15 is effortlessly dispersible in water, allowing for smooth integration with textile finishing processes. The product is compatible with both manual and automated application systems, and its weakly cationic nature enhances its affinity for a broad range of textile fibers.
Safe and Stable Under Everyday ConditionsFormulated to be non-flammable and chemically stable, Hydrophobic Amino Oil AD-15 ensures safe handling and storage. It should be kept tightly sealed in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to maintain its 12-month shelf life and optimal performance.
FAQ's of Hydrophobic Amino Oil AD-15:
Q: How should Hydrophobic Amino Oil AD-15 be stored for maximum stability?
A: To ensure maximum stability, store the product tightly sealed in a dry, cool location, away from direct sunshine. This will help maintain its performance characteristics for up to 12 months.
Q: What is the main application process for AD-15 in textile finishing?
A: AD-15 is typically dispersed in water and applied to fabrics using padding or exhaustion methods, followed by heat curing. Its weakly cationic nature promotes excellent adherence to textile fibers, resulting in enhanced hydrophobicity and a soft finish.
Q: When is it most beneficial to use Hydrophobic Amino Oil AD-15?
A: AD-15 is most beneficial when you require textiles or fabrics to have superior water repellency and softness, such as in outdoor wear, upholstery, or specialty fabrics that need both comfort and performance.
Q: What are the safety considerations when handling AD-15?
A: AD-15 is non-flammable and stable under normal conditions. It should be handled using standard chemical safety precautions, ensuring containers are closed when not in use and that the workplace is well-ventilated to minimize exposure to its characteristic odor.
Q: Where does AD-15 demonstrate its best results?
A: AD-15 shows optimal performance on cellulose, synthetic, and blended fibers, making it suitable for use in various segments of the textile industry-particularly for finishings that demand durability, water repellency, and a soft touch.
Q: What benefits does hydrophobic treatment with AD-15 offer compared to conventional softeners?
A: AD-15 combines water repellency with a soft, non-greasy hand while maintaining textile breathability. This dual action outperforms many conventional softeners, making it ideal for high-quality, functional textile applications.
